From Strides to Stories
This November, I'm embarking on the #Movember600 challenge, pushing my limits to run 600 kilometers over the month and spark conversations about mental health.
I will run 60km every 3 days broken down into 10km, 20km and 30kms, to highlight my my mental health journey in my teens, 20s and 30s.

I am so happy you're here! For years now I've been advocating for men's mental health and this fight is far from over.
Last year, I ran 465 kilometers in November, signifying the significance of prioritizing mental well-being. This year, I am upping the ante, challenging myself to run 600 kilometers, reflecting on my mental health journey through my teens, 20s, and 30s.!

I use running to navigate my own mental health challenges and initiate vital discussions at all ages and levels. My passion for both my career and well-being underscores my dedication to driving positive change around mental health.
In my teens, I was constantly pushed to achieve more and compared to others. I struggled to understand what was going on with my mental health.
I often
felt alone and
didn't have the resources or tools to deal with them effectively.
In my 20s, things got worse. I was suicidal and struggled with alcohol as a coping mechanism. I was a high achiever at work, and I used that as a way to cover up what I was going through. I worked extremely hard, hoping that success would make me feel better. It didn't.
ο»ΏIn my 30s, I have become more
accepting
of my mental health challenges and have learned to
do things in balance. I have realized that working hard is not enough to solve my problems, and I need to take care of my
mental health
as well.

Running 465km in support of men's mental health
Starting with 1km on the first day of the month, I ran 30 consecutive days in one-kilometre increments in November 2022. The end result was a total of 465km and together we raised over £10000 π
